Gold-Chained Necklace

I noticed that my hubby is not wearing the silver necklace I gave him as my Valentine’s Day gift. Yes, it hurts to know that especially that all I wanted is for him to look great everyday. Until one day, I confronted him as to why he’s not wearing the necklace. He told me that her neck itches whenever he wears that. Come to think of it, it’s real silver and not just any ordinary fake metal available anywhere else. But my hubby’s skin seems sensitive to jewelries not made of gold.

So I am planning to buy him a new one. But this time, it’ll be a necklace made of gold chains. I just have to save for it. He has no idea that I’m planning to buy him a gold necklace. Of course, it’ll be a surprise. Never did I give him an expensive gift. I don’t even remember that I gave him a gift. No kidding aside, I can only afford to buy him things that are easy on my pocket. But if you’ll ask him, he’d rather not want me to spend just for giving him gifts. That’s why I always keep it a secret every time I buy something for him.

It will be unfair if he’s the only one giving me presents whether there is a special occasion on no occasion at all he still give me one. On my birthday this year, he gave me a gold pair of earrings. He also promised to give me a gold ring. I don’t know if it’ll be an engagement ring. But the important thing is, he always wants me to be happy. So I want to do the same thing for him. I love him so much that I’d do anything I can to make him happy. He’s a good provider for me and my son so I guess a gold necklace would make sense as my present for him.
